The original crispy must have come from this paticular stall at a local coffeeshop!
some really lovely preserved fruit(which we guessed papaya) to whet our appetite before the seafood feast
my favourite slippers got some oil tar stain when i went frolicking in the sea. so byebye slippers!
in 25hours, I did these as well as other touristy things like:
- bought a rather funky checked hooded guy's shirt(for myself)
- my first very affordable $23 full body massage (im afraid i have to marry my masseuse)
- chased 200m down the road by a cab operator who refused to let us hail our own cabs
- waited for a buggie for 10min just to get to our dinner place which is 5 min away(how touristy can we get)
- bought a 1kg kueh lapis which is impossible to finish even after giving half of it away to my neighbour and v conscientious consumption of it
