yesterday as my ah ma chewed on her quick lunch snack of kaya on hot toast & cereal drink, she suddenly paused bites of green coconut fragrant goodness and said, "Boh lier, wo jiu cham.." (I will be in a poor state if you are not around)
i thought then.. "Ah ma, boh lier, wo JIA cham" (Without you, THEN I will be the one who's in a poor state)
